The LifeWorks Institute, Inc., aka Youth Taking Charge receives funding from grants at the city, state and federal levels, donations from individuals and corporate sponsorships.

Our Vision is to become a self-sustaining non profit that is dependent on outside funding only to the degree necessary to keep our 501(c)3 status as required by the Internal Revenue Service.

  Donor Pledges

The ABC's for individual or sponsorship donations:

A     is for Action.  Make a one-time donation up to $500

B     is for taking the Bull by the horns with a one-time donation over $500

C     is to take Charge and pledge a multi-year commitment for $500 and above.

The Wimberley Valley needs a Youth Zone facility.  We saw the need and the desire and went into action for our community.  Sustainability requires focus and commitment on an on-going basis.  To that end we will use fees from our camps and after-school programs to ensure our youth have a long-term home for recreation, fun and learning!
